nice book !
i was given Rose Levy Beranbaums chocolate book as one of my first cookbooks.... 40 years ago or so and it is still one of my favorite... recipes work and are well tested... if you ever go to Portland, Or, her restaurant if it is still there is fun and great for deserts .. like 7 layer cakes....... I bought this for great pie recipes and because i know they will work... and are all unique..

Just baked the cherry pie. Crust was light and delicious. Lattice directions made it easy.
I'd buy anything written by Ms Beranbaum. I've tried a few recipes and they've come out really well. I especially like her very detailed description of how to make a good pie crust
My 5 favorite pie recipes now on the tips of my fingers! Apple, Pecan, Pumpkin, Strawberry, and Chocolate cream! My favorite flaky pie crust too!
